Eric Bauman is a Douchebag

As you are mostly all aware, Ebaumsworld sucks. Really hard. Eric Bauman is a thief who steals content from other people, throws a watermark all over it, and makes money off of said content by putting ads on the site, where he makes quite some bank.
Recently, Ebaumsworld put up a GIF animation that originated from one of the greatest stupid sites on the internet, YTMND.com. Here’s the original, albeit somewhat modded to make fun of Ebaumsworld.
Since then, it’s been war. War on Eric Bauman, and his horrendous web site. And we must support our troops.

You’re just jealous that you don’t have his success. His site isn’t about being popular or making money or ascending the social ladder, it’s about sharing media that should be seen by everyone.
I personally would not have even known about that animation of Linsey Lohan without his site, and I am glad I saw it. On his site, the media is displayed to be enjoyed, appreciated, and criticised. It is a site uniquely celebrating the qualities of media, not the creators of the content, and that’s the way it should be. It is far less of a hassle to appreciate content than having to also aknowledge the creator, such as self-proclaiming rebels who make “tributes” due to their dire need of social recognition.

If that were the case, he would give credit to the people whose hard work he’s making money off of.

Fact is, he stole it, end of story.

And covered in ads so Eric Bauman can make a buttload of cash from stealing content from other sites.

See, that’s what makes it theft, he doesn’t give these creative and talented people the credit they deserve, he’s an econo sized douchebag, and I for one don’t even go to his shitty site anymore, I can find the same content elsewhere, without having to see his lame little watermark all over it.

What are you talking about? If his website is about sharing the content with the world, then why is his website plastered with popup and banner ads? If you’re going to lamely argue that it’s to cover his hosting costs, trust me his hosting costs are utterly insignificant compared to his total revenue. So what’s your argument for why he shouldn’t be divying up the excess amongst the creators of the content or at least the websites that had permission to post the content?
So, Mr. Ebaumsworldlackey, why in his case is it not about making money?
